This past week has been a whirlwind of emotions, but above all, I find myself overwhelmed with gratitude.

Firstly, my niece tied the knot. While I wasn't formally invited to the celebration, I hold nothing but well wishes for the newlyweds. Witnessing their union, albeit from afar, reminded me of the cherished bond I share with my husband, Gregg. He's the anchor in my life, embracing me for all that I am, flaws and all, echoing Brene Brown's wisdom in "The Gifts of Imperfection." Our relationship is a sanctuary where we can be our most authentic selves, forever embracing the joy of living with childlike wonder.

Moreover, I recently submitted a video for Buswell Biomedical to the Tech STL Start Up World Cup. The outpouring of support I've received has been nothing short of incredible. From family members to friends, each person rallied behind me, dedicating their time and effort to help me secure votes. Their unwavering support is a testament to the power of friendship and community, echoing the sentiments of Muhammad Ali.” Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It's not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything.” Even in the face of competition, the camaraderie I've experienced fills me with warmth and appreciation.

Voting ended on Wednesday with Buswell Biomedical in 8th place in the contest, I am filled with hope and optimism, knowing that regardless of the outcome, I am surrounded by incredible individuals who believe in me. This journey has been a poignant reminder of the beauty of love, support, and the unexpected blessings that grace our lives.
